On July 27th, Bam Bam celebrated his birthday at Bar Barretos Night Club, a newly opened Bar and Nightclub owned by Tommo from Blue Rock. The night was fun for all and a little messy for some as seen in the picture above.
The Blue Rock Resort Celebrated its 5th Anniversary on Saturday October 13th. There was great live music and free draft beer & finger food. 150 people celebrated our birthday with us and it was a truly memorable evening.

The 2008 Ms Blue Rock and Ms gay Blue Rock Pageant was held on Saturday March 15, 2008. It was a truely memorable night and a good time was had by all.
At the 18th Annual National Consumers Union Awards for the Philippines Blue Rock was one of 600 nominated and won the award for Outstanding Beach Resort – Philippines . There were 43 awards given out in total at a presentation at Casa Marinero Intramuros Manila on the 28th of November 2007. Blue Rock was among a prestigious gathering of winners including such companies as Samsung, Isuzu, Citibank, Philippine Airlines and SM Prime Holdings Corporation.
There were only 2 awards given to Hotels and Resorts they were Blue Rock and Waling Beach Resort Boracay.
It was stated that Blue Rock is continually striving for excellence, and rendering the best service at all times while maintaining a great atmosphere….
The Consumers Union of the Philippines has been operating for 45 years this award is something we are very proud of and the trophy will be on display inside the resort…………..

The monkey family that has been a part of Blue Rock for so long have been turned over to Ocean Adventure for a taste of their natural habitat.

Blue Rock Dive Centre teaches under the internationally recognized PADI, SSI and TDI systems of diver education, Blue Rock Dive Centre is the place for your first or next Subic Bay,Philippines diving adventures.
On 25th April, Blue Rock presented to Sherry Zimmer, a cheque and cash to the amount of P 43,000.00 being proceeds from our annual Miss Blue Rock Beach Bash. Sherry is the President of The S.C.O.T.S. Foundation, a privately run orphanage just north of Subic , which takes abandoned babies and gives them a chance in life. The baby in the picture is actually a white baby that was abandoned in a rice paddy near here and found by a local woman who took it to Sherry and 1 year later, the baby is now on the right road. I have personally obligated to donate $200 per month for the babys’ continued health support.
